　　The new year had almost arrived, and the Toy Kingdom planned to invite everyone to a grand ball. The day of the dance, the toys were all dancing and laughing, and the whole ballroom was extraordinarily lively. But off in one corner, receiving no attention from anyone, there was an old purple doll silently gazing at the dance floor, her eyes were blank and she looked lonely. Just then, a white polar bear in front of her saw this, walked over and asked the dependable old doll, “Doll, why don’t you go dance?” The dependable doll lowered her head sadly, saying in a small voice, “The [other] toys all say I’m too short, they’re not willing to dance with me.” Saying this, she began to cry. 　　新年快到了，玩具王國決定舉行一場盛大的舞會，準備邀請全國的玩具都來參加。舞會那天，玩具們都不停地跳著、笑著，整個舞場熱鬧非凡。可是在一個角落裡，誰也沒有注意到，有一隻紫色的香草娃娃正一聲不吭地望著舞池，她的眼神呆呆的，顯得十分孤獨。這時，一隻小白熊正好從她面前經過，它看到了這一切，就走過去問香草娃娃：“娃娃，你為什麼不去跳舞呢?”香草娃娃難過地低下了頭，輕輕地說：“玩具們都嫌我個子小，不願意請我跳舞。”說完流下了眼淚。小白熊聽了很氣憤，說：“他們怎麼能這樣對待你呢?難道他們不懂得要團結友愛嗎!太過分了!”小白熊拉起香草娃娃的手，說，“娃娃，不要難過了。走，我請你跳舞。”香草娃娃聽了這話，臉上頓時露出了燦爛的笑容，她連忙擦掉臉上的淚水，高興地說：“太好了!太好了!”娃娃和小白熊在舞池裡又跳又笑，一起度過了一個愉快的夜晚。
