　　There are still many environmental protection problems in recent years. One of the most serious problems is the air, water and soil serious pollution. Air pollution seriously damage people's health. Polluted water causes diseases and death. What's more, vegetation has been greatly reduced, with the rapid growth of modern cities.

　　In order to protect the environment, governments in many countries have done a lot of work. This paper introduces the legislative measures to control air pollution, to protect forest resources and Marine resources, to stop any environmental pollution. 　　I think, in order to protect the environment, the government must take more concrete measures. First of all, the government should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection, through education. Second, more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy, because more people means more people means more pollution. Finally, those who intentionally damage the environment should be punished severely. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.
