雙語詩歌欣賞鋼琴

　　戴維·赫伯特·勞倫斯

　　戴維·赫伯特·勞倫斯(1885-1930)是二十世紀英國最獨特和最有爭議的作家之一。勞倫斯提倡人性自由發展，反對工業文明對自然的破壞。他的作品對家庭、婚姻和性進行了深入探索，對20世紀的小說寫作產生了廣泛影響。他是英國詩人、小說家、散文家，曾在國內外漂泊十多年。他寫過詩，但主要寫長篇小說，共有10部，最著名的為《虹》(1915)、《愛戀中的女人》(1921)和《查特萊夫人的情人》(1928)。

　　Softly in the dusk, a woman is singing to me;

　　Taking me back down the vista of years, till I see

　　A child sitting under the piano, in the boom of the tingling strings

　　And pressing the small, poised feet of a mother who smiles as she sings.
