　　喜宴介紹：

　　定居美國的高偉同是一個同性戀者，他和他的戀人、一位叫Simon的美國男子，一起住在紐約的曼哈頓。但高偉同在臺灣的父母並不知道自己的'兒子是同性戀，他們不斷地催促國偉快點結婚，好承繼高家的香火。恰好高偉同的公寓裡借住著一位來自大陸的非法女移民高偉同，於是Simon出了讓偉同和顧葳葳結婚的主意。這樣一來既安撫了偉同遠在臺灣的父母，又能使顧葳葳拿到夢寐以求的綠卡，而且還能保持Simon和偉同之間的同居關係。這個看上去的萬全之策卻引來了更復雜的事端，偉同的父母聞知喜訊欣然來到了紐約，為兒子操辦喜事。於是各種各樣的情感糾紛、人際衝突便在一個熱鬧忙亂的中國式喜宴背後展開了。
