　　It is true that summer is hot, very hot. But the wicked summer sun is nothing to me, for I don't usually go out. What I like to do best during the long summer vacation is to stay in my own little room and read. I love to read, but during the school year I could hardly find a free moment for reading.

　　Endless assignments press down upon me like a mountain. I feel confined and imprisoned. Once the summer vacation comes, however, I have all the time in the world to read and read and read. 　　My family went out for a Japanese dinner today. We went to the famous one located in the center of our city. We got there around 6:30 pm and saw many people were sitting at the reception area. After talking to the girl there, we found out that people usually make a reservation before them come as it always is busy this restaurant. We ended up wait for about one hour before we sat down. What a waste!

　　我的家人今天去吃日本料理了。我們去了一家在市中心的很有名的日本料理店。我們大約6;30左右到的，結果看到很多人都在等。問了那裡的一個女孩，才知道這個飯店很忙，通常情況下，人們都要提起訂桌的。結果我們等了一個多小時才坐下。真是浪費時間!
