During the Spring Festival, people use red lantern and Spring Festival couplets decorate a house, put on all kinds of colored clothes, often visit friends and relatives or together eat dumplings, fish, meat and other delicious food. The children are looking forward to receiving red envelope money, and together they play each other the fireworks, with happy. Street with dragon and lion dance and some other carnival activities, CCTV will held the grand Spring Festival gala.

  Far and away the most important holiday in China is Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese New Year. To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the West. the dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar rather than the GREgorian calendar, so the timing of the holiday varies from late January to early February.

  To the ordinary Chinese, the festival actually begins on the eve of the lunar New Year's Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar calendar. But the 15th of the first month, which normally is called the Lantern Festival, means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the country.

  The Spring Festival is a very important festival in China.It's on the first day of the first lunar month.Before the Spring Festival,people have bought presents, like,meat, fruit,flowers drinks and somethings for themselves.

  The children are very happy because the Spring Festival is coming.Mothers have bought clothes for them child.The clothes are very beautiful.

  At the Spring Festival night twelve o'clock,people eat dumplings with money,stand for safe.
